Today, shielding electromagnetic radiation is a pressing issue in many industries such as: aerospace, automotive, electronics and more; and usually done using metal based solutions. Conventional composite materials do not offer good EMI shielding capabilities.
Tortech’s ULCNT mats can be embedded in any composite structure to provide good EMI shielding performance with minimal weight. Fabricating hybrid CNT composites with Tortech’s Material does not require any special methods or equipment and can be done using conventional fabrication methods
