Tortech Nano-Fibers is an Israeli R&D startup company founded in 2010. The technology of Tortech is based on a novel patented process that was developed at Cambridge University.
The process is a continuous gas phase catalytic reaction (FFCVD) between a floating catalyst and a carbon source. The process enables the formation of a continuous and robust non-woven mats and fibres made of Ultra-Long Carbon Nanotubes (ULCNT) that could be handled and used without the addition of binders.
Tortech is developing and industrializing this patented process a wide range of commercial applications.
